VAC systems were handed over to Stavyshchenska Hospital
published on: 11/01/2024

Last year, the "Stavyschenska Hospital", which is located in the Kyiv region, celebrated its 100th anniversary since its opening. Yes, it was a hundred years ago that the main building of the hospital was completed and the medical facility became fully operational. As a hundred years ago, as now, "Stavyshchenska Hospital" provides medical care to everyone who needs it.

Since the beginning of the full-scale war, the small town of Stavyshche has taken in many people who were forced to leave their homes by the war. Due to the increase in the number of requests to the hospital for medical assistance, the workload on the medical staff of “Stavyshchenska Hospital” has increased significantly. Lack of personnel and medical equipment - these are the problems faced by the hospital during the war. But if personnel issues are solved by involving immigrant doctors in the hospital team, then the situation with the necessary equipment is somewhat different.

The hospital's surgical department needed vacuum systems to treat patients with severe injuries using vacuum wound therapy. The "Healthy Future" charitable foundation gave the hospital what it needed, namely:

  • Device for treating wounds with negative pressure NP-100 – 3 pcs.
  • Negative pressure wound therapy canister CS 300 (drainage container) – 30 pcs.
  • Negative pressure wound therapy dressing kit NPWT-1-260A – 30 pcs.

We sincerely wish the medical team of "Stavyschenska Hospital" success in their difficult daily work. Together to victory!
