"Snigurivska City Hospital" received VAC systems for the treatment of severe wounds
published on: 09/10/2023

The Snigurivska community has experienced many disasters since the beginning of the war: eight months of brutal occupation, ruin and destruction left behind by the occupiers; flooding of villages and fertile lands of the community as a result of the enemy undermining the Kakhovskaya HPP; missile attack on Snigurivka on Easter, terror by drone attacks on residential buildings and civilian infrastructure. And there is also a large amount of mined territory, the demining of which may take years. Life threatening, yes. But people continue to return home to their hometown. Step by step, residents of Snigurivka are restoring normal life: destroyed roads and houses are being rebuilt, surviving infrastructure is being repaired, and the territory is being cleared of mines.

The doctors of the CNP "Snigurivska City Hospital" are also restoring their ability to provide specialized medical care. For this purpose, the "Healthy Future" Foundation handed over a large batch of medical equipment to the hospital, which will now help the hospital's specialists more effectively treat patients with significant soft tissue injuries:

  • Negative pressure wound therapy device NP-100 – 10 pcs.
  • Negative pressure wound therapy canister CS 300 (drainage container) – 800 pcs.
  • Negative pressure wound therapy dressing kit NPWT-1-260A – 800 pcs.

The heroic work of hospital doctors during the occupation was noted at the highest level. From the bottom of our hearts, we congratulate Nataliya Anatoliivna Dvoretska, head nurse of the Snigurivska City Hospital, on awarding her the honorary title of "Honored Health Care Worker of Ukraine" for her significant personal contribution to the development of the national health care system, providing qualified medical care and saving people's lives in the conditions of martial law, conscientious performance of professional duty and on the occasion of the Day of Medical Workers. The corresponding decree No. 447/2023 was signed by the President of Ukraine on 07/25/2023.

Together to victory!
