For several weeks in a row, the National Children's Specialized Hospital "Okhmatdyt" has been recovering after the brutal rocket attack that the Russians inflicted on the children's hospital on July 8, 2024. The medical staff is also recovering, doctors are currently returning to work in the hospital. Ultrasound diagnostics and MRI examinations have been resumed, scheduled surgical operations will soon begin, and intensive therapy will also begin. But it is still far from the full restoration of the work of all departments of the hospital: the reconstruction of the destroyed buildings of the medical institution is needed.

Today, the clinical-diagnostic polyclinic of the National Children's Specialized Hospital "Okhmatdyt" continues to work in full, where doctors of various specialties see patients in two shifts. Here, Ukrainian children and women of reproductive age have the opportunity in a short period of time (1-2 days) to receive highly qualified multidisciplinary advisory assistance and to conduct comprehensive diagnostic and laboratory examinations.

A week before the rocket attack on the hospital, the "Healthy Future" Charitable Foundation handed over a state-of-the-art dermatoscope to the Pediatric Department No. 2 of the "Okhmatdit" polyclinic:

Dermatoscope D200evo is a digital imaging system for diagnosing skin diseases in the early stages. Five levels of magnification allow you to study the smallest detail of the skin. The D200evo dermatoscope is indispensable for examining hair, analyzing moles and making a map of moles, for studying the processes of skin aging and the dynamics of the development of skin diseases.

The equipment is already successfully working in the Pediatric Department No. 2 of the "Okhmatdit" polyclinic and helps doctors to restore and preserve the health of young and adult patients.
