The war has changed many things, but the valuelessness of human life remains unchanged. National Children's Specialized Hospital (NCSH) "Okhmatdyt" is a children's hospital, and since the first days of the war, the doctors of "Okhmatdyt" selflessly provide highly specialized medical care not only to children, but also to adults from all corners of Ukraine. During the war, new medical and polyclinic departments were opened at NCSH “Okhmatdyt”, the hospital's surgeons perform unique organ transplant operations, since May 2023, field teams of “Okhmatdyt” doctors have made more than 50 trips to the de-occupied territories, where they conducted a comprehensive examination of almost 8,000 children who survived the terrible occupation. "Okhmatdit" doctors are real heroes! Despite the huge workload, they always remain cordial to their patients.

But the equipment cannot withstand significant loads and sometimes fails at the most unexpected moment. The other day, the "Healthy Future" Charitable Foundation helped NCSH "Okhmatdyt" to repair an automatic coagulometer – medical equipment for analyzing blood coagulation and conducting research on hemostasis disorders. From now on, the repaired coagulometer will work every day and help hospital specialists with numerous routine tests.
