Every day, dozens of Ukrainians receive severe limb injuries and require highly qualified surgical assistance to preserve them. In order to continue a full life, an injured person needs not only to preserve the affected arm or leg, but also to preserve the functional mobility of the limb itself and joints Therefore, during the war, Ukrainian hospitals need special equipment for the treatment of complex fractures.

To help the surgeons of “Nikopol City Hospital No. 4” to put people back on their feet in the literal sense of the word, Bank Credit Dnipro together with the Healthy Future Foundation purchased and handed over to the hospital a Lojer (Finland) orthopedic attachment for the operating table in the following configuration:

• Traction device for pulling the leg at an angle – 1 pc.
• Clamp for orthopedic attachment – 2 pcs.
• Knee support – 1 pc.
• Clamp-lock Ø18 mm, rotary – 1 pc.
• Leg support with pillow – 1 pc.
• Additional rail to the orthopedic attachment – 1 pc.

An orthopedic attachment of this configuration will provide additional opportunities for the treatment of the lower limbs with the use of traction, will allow surgical treatment of complex fractures - to assemble and fix bone fragments with mechanical structures and implants. And therefore, it will help the patient to preserve not only the lower limb, but also health and a full future.
