The first after God – this is what defenders say about Ukrainian surgeons. They say it with great respect and gratitude. After all, during a full-scale war, surgeons in operating rooms do incredible things to preserve the life and health of every patient.

Today we are talking about the State institution "Institute of Emergency and General Surgery named after V. T. Zaitsev National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine", Kharkiv. Surgeons of the IEGS have been working 24/7 since the beginning of the war, rescuing wounded soldiers, civilians, and children every day. In August, the Institute received vacuum systems for the treatment of severe wounds from the Healthy Future Foundation:

• Negative pressure wound therapy device NP-100 – 15 pcs.
• Negative pressure wound therapy canister CS 300 (drainage container) – 800 pcs.
• Negative pressure wound therapy dressing kit NPWT-1-260A – 800 pcs.
