"Balakliya Clinical Multidisciplinary Intensive Care Hospital" received surgical aspirators
published on: 23/02/2024

"Balakliya Clinical Multidisciplinary Intensive Care Hospital" is a medical institution with more than a century of history. The hospital celebrated its 110th anniversary a year before the start of the full-scale war. The history of the hospital began with the provision of medical care in a small hut that could barely accommodate two beds. Over the years of its existence, the small hospital has turned into a powerful multidisciplinary medical facility with several buildings, with a modern medical and diagnostic base for round-the-clock medical assistance in 28 specialties. This was before the start of a full-scale war.

After the de-occupation of the Balaklia community in September 2022, the medical staff of the Balaklia Hospital is making significant efforts to restore the full operation of all hospital departments. And for this, first of all, it is necessary to fully restore the availability of medical equipment that was destroyed and looted by the enemy during the occupation.

Understanding the needs of doctors, the "Healthy Future" Charitable Foundation together with "Bank Credit Dnipro" provided additional assistance to Balaklia Hospital, namely:

  • 9 pieces of Aspira Go portable surgical aspirators, powered by a rechargeable battery, model: P1611EM-20.

The provided equipment is necessary for doctors to remove biological/foreign fluids, fragments of crushed tissues, and foreign bodies from the human body during surgical operations. It is important that this aspirator model is adapted for use in resuscitation vehicles.

The Foundation team expresses its sincere gratitude to our permanent partner Bank Credit Dnipro for cooperation and systematic financial support. Together to victory!
